Are you interested in either manning a table for the Friday, May 1 Independent Arts & Media Journalism Innovations II event being held at SF State University of San Francisco and/or taking part in teaching social media skills to attendees in a session on that day?
We have the opportunity to build some curriculum (we have some work we can base it on from Susan, JD, David, Beth Kanter and others, as well as what you'd like to contribute) and then teach sessions at the event.
We'll need to do 1-2 meetings in April and a phone call or two to prep for the event.

I would be happy to help with this since David Cohn isn't going to be around. I think it's important to create good quality curriculum that looks good and is accessible. My interest is:

One last question, my husband could design something for us since he's a prof designer, www.bradeller.com. As a freelancer he would need SOME kind of stipend or nonprofit rate for his time. Are there any resources for that?

I am not sure if I am moving that day (May 1st). Regardless, I would like to participate in the April planning meetings.

Not sure if I can be there for the entire day yet, but I'd love to help teach the afternoon sessions. FWIW, I have an entertaining presentation centered around brand building via blogging and social media. It's relevant to both to individuals and groups that are looking to build a brand and foster community.
